| List of Ingredients 6 oz Finfish, tuna, fresh, yellowfin, raw 1/2 ml Peppers, sweet, red, raw 1/2 cup Onions, raw 1 tbs Hummus, commercial 1/2 large pita (6-1/2" dia) Bread, pita, whole-wheat 1 tsp Oil, olive, salad or cooking 2 tbs Water, bottled, poland spring 3/4 cup Cabbage, chinese (pak-choi), raw Instructions for Preparation Marinate Tuna w/ Dry Rub Spices or Your choice of wet marinades..Marinade will cook off in grilling proccess Saute' Peppers,onions and cabbage in olive oil Add water to hummus to thin it out for pourng..There are many different flavors of hummus feel free to experiment.. I like Jalapeno/Celantro hummus ..Adds some zip!! Heat Pita Grill or sear Tuna About 2 minutes a side..It Should still be pink in the inside.. Unless you prefer it cooked through.. Slice Tuna into 1/2 " slices and place them in the Pita. Add Veggies Pour Hummus mixture over the top and ..EAT.. GOOOOOOOOD Eats..This Eats like a Whopper so have plenty of napkins handy!! You should feel free to use other types of fish for this also.. Be Creative with your food choices.. This recipe makes a great Lunch item and with More veggies would be a com;plete High protein dinner |
